Daniel & the Lion’s Den Tableware Set

The Book of Daniel, Chapter 6 in The Old Testament

During King Darius’ reign, the people did not like Daniel because of his faith in God.  The people decided to create a rule that whoever prays to God shall be cast into a den with lions.  Daniel did not listen and prayed to God.  When the people found out, they told the King and he got thrown into the lion’s den.  The next day they went to see if Daniel was alive and he was! God sent an angel to shut the lion’s mouths so they wouldn’t hurt Daniel.  Daniel was praising God and so happy!

Daniel 6:26 For He is the living God and steadfast forever. His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall endure to the end.
